I recieve messages from time to time from folks who want to like my blog...but just can't because I am sometimes too long winded.  Yes, I know that many of my entries can be a page or two passed what people want to read while they pretend to be bust at work.

So I am going to post audio of some of my favortie entries (that happen to be extended reads) so that people can hear my melodic voice read them.

This first audio entry is one that I wrote a couple years ago...and I am broadcasting it in celebration of the fact that it is going to be published in The Mexico City Readers Digest.  (no I am not kidding..sigh)

Please forgive my slowly dying voice.  Perhaps you can imagine Johnny Cash came back from the grave to read this blog entry.  Sooner of later I will get over my cold......
