So, you all know the stats.  1 out of 150 children are being diagnosed as autistic.  In some states the rates are even higher!  THis means that there are hundreds of thousands of parents of children who are living with autism.  I am sure each of you may know at least one person who is a caregiver of an autistic child...or heck you may just know a person who knows a person.

In any case I know a great book for fathers of autistic children.  It is a collection of stories by various fathers across the country who are raising children within the spectrum of autism.  It is called "Autism. Heartfelt thoughts from fathers"  It can be found on her website right here: book!!!! It was all put together by the incredible Judy Lynne who also has a book out for mothers.  If you search the website you can find info for that one as well.

So, yes I am one of the people featured in the book.  But I am not endorsing it because I am in it.  The other stories that I read were so moving and inspirarational that it plants a new seed of hope each time I read it.  The book is also a great tool for people who may want to increase their understanding of what other families are going through.
